Edo State Flags Off Human Papillomavirus Vaccine on Children’s Day in Benin City.

One of the focal points of the Children’s Day celebration held on May 27^th, 2024,  was the Official Flag Off Ceremony of the Human Papillomavirus Vaccine Introduction (HPVVI) for young girls at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium by the First Lady of Edo State, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki.

The event also recognized educational excellence, with awards given to students and schools that excelled in the Betsy Obaseki Essay Writing Competition on HPVVI. The top three students from the junior and senior categories received prizes and their schools received an award of excellence presented by Her Excellency, Mrs Betsy Obaseki and other Executives present.
