Edo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (EDSPHCDA) and Edo Emergency Medical Services (EDO EMS) paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of Oredo Local Government Area, Dr. Tom Obaseki and his team.
The meeting convened on the 14th of May, 2024 at the Oredo Secretariat Conference Room. Led by the Executive Secretary, Dr. Omosigho Izedonmwen and some members of EDSPHCDA Management team, as well as Mrs Kate Ibeanusi, Project Manager, Edo EMS and her team.
The visit aimed to discuss upcoming initiatives vital for community health enhancement. Among this were the groundbreaking ceremony for the anticipated Oredo Clinic and the imminent roll out of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine into routine immunization to protect the girls from cervical cancer.
The Exercise is slated to commence from May 27th, 2024. Additionally, plans for the awareness campaign to encourage residents of Oredo, Ikpoba Okha and Egor to utilize EDO EMS services were also discussed.
