We are pleased to introduce Dr. Coulson Osoikhai Oahimire as the newly appointed Executive Secretary, Edo State Primary Health Care Development Agency (EDSPHCDA). He officially assumed office on the 14th of February, 2025, bringing with him a wealth of experience in Medical Practice, Healthcare Management, and Community Health Services.
Dr. Oahimire is a Nigerian Medical Professional with a strong background in Clinical Care, Medical Research, and Healthcare Administration. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, and is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, UK, as well as the West African College of Surgeons.
With years of experience spanning public and private healthcare institutions, including the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Federal Medical Centre Yenagoa, and various Specialist Medical Centers.
Dr. Oahimire has played an important role in improving patient care, medical training, and public health initiatives.
As he takes on this leadership role at the Edo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (EDSPHCDA) Dr. Oahimire is committed to strengthening primary healthcare services across Edo State, improving accessibility to quality medical care, and fostering innovations that improve community health and wellness for Edo people.
