In collaboration with the Office of the Accountant General and the Office of the Auditor General of Edo State, the Edo State Primary Healthcare Development Agency (EDSPHCDA) recently hosted a two day Remediation Training for the Basic Health Care Provision Fund (BHCPF) from May 9th to 10th, 2024 at John Odigie Oyegun Public Service Training Centre (JOOPSA).
The Primary Objective of the training was to enhance the skills and knowledge of the Account, Audit, Procurement Departments/Units as well as the Core team members responsible for BHCPF, to enable them to perform their audit and accounting duties effectively.
The Executive Secretary, EDSPHCDA Dr. Omosigho Izedomwen noted the training was important to familiarize staff with E-Payment processes and guidelines to streamline payment processes, ensuring funds are disbursed directly to beneficiaries.
The training was facilitated by seasoned professionals from both the Accountant General’s Office and the Auditor General’s office, Edo State.
